About me...

"Annie was a caring, gentle midwife with a peaceful presence." (mother of 4th baby)

I've been a midwife since 1980 and have worked in the NHS on Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Antenatal and Postnatal wards in two large hospitals, and also as an NHS Community Midwife. I've done some midwifery teaching and have worked in Uganda. I became an Independent Midwife in 1991 following the births of 2 children, Hamish and Fiona. I live near Abbey Dore in southwest Herefordshire.

"The more birth stories we hear, the more we appreciate all you did for us. We couldn't have done it so beautifully without your strong gentle hands, strong heart, and strong head!" (parents of 1st baby)
